Beth Arvey | Team Joan Donnelly

I walk in memory of my sister Joan, she died unexpectedly in 2010.  Joan delivered a baby boy and had a two-year old girl.  Preeclampsia does not go away after delivery. Please share this website with anyone that is pregnant and their family, it is better to be informed, there is no age barrier, knowledge is power and saves lives.

Joan was the 8th child out of nine children, I was the 7th child. I was two years older than Joan. Joan went to heaven at the young age of 43, it was the same day I adopted my son and he arrived in my arms.  We both just had baby boys. I can not imagine my son's life without me, and for a baby to be without their mother or any young child without their mother or a mother without their baby.  That is why I walk, we must educate, spread awareness and find a cure!

My husband, son and I have been virtual walkers for the Orlando Promise Walk, this is our 5th year, Joan called Orlando her home.  Donations support the cause throughout our country. Please make a donation, any amount, it all helps to save moms and babies.

My dad went to heaven in 2016 and is with Joan.  They walk with us in spirit! My dad wears his Preeclampsia shirt in heaven! I miss them both so much and walking with them each year and raising money is our calling in life so we can help save moms and babies. Join us with a donation, walk or spread this website!  Thank you!
