Thank you for visiting my 2017 Promise Walk for Preeclampsia fundraising page.
This is the seventh year for the Promise Walk but unfortunately, I have volleyball the day of the walk and am unable to participate on the actual day of the walk. With that being said, I still believe that raising funds for the research of this disease is very important. Because of this I have decided to once again raise money and complete the 5k walk on a different day.
Preeclampsia is a disease that affects mothers and their babies during or after pregnancy. In March of 2009, my Aunt Kellie was affected with this terrible disease after giving birth to my cousin Noamie. Thankfully, neither of them were severely affected by Preeclampsia unlike so many other mothers and babies.
Even though so many are affected by this each year, it is still unknown to doctors and scientists as to what causes this disease, this is why I believe it is so important to raise money for this disease.
I want to thank all of you who have supported me and the research of this disease in the past and I would like to ask you to please consider supporting me and everyone else in this fight to find a cure for this terrible disease.
