Thank you for visiting our 2017 Promise Walk for Preeclampsia fundraising page.
I am grateful for your donations and for your help in spreading the word about preeclampsia. This is a sickness that is very near and dear to my heart and hits very close to home. My mother was preeclamptic with my sister and I. I was born weighing only 1lb and 11ounces, and my sister was 3lbs and 9ounces. I was fortunate to make it a little further with my own baby and delivered her at 35 weeks weighing 5lbs and 14 ounces. I am so very thankful and know any of our outcomes could have been much different. Some people say their hero is a singer, movie star or some celebrity. My heros are premature babies and the doctors and nurses that work to save both mama and baby. You never know a true hero until you watch a tiny baby fight from their very first breath just to live another day. My goal is to help our community raise funds and awareness and save the lives of moms and babies!
Please make a donation to support our efforts to fund education and research into this life-threatening disorder of pregnancy.
