Miranda Mellott | Mighty Mellott

Thank you for visiting my 2017 Promise Walk for Preeclampsia fundraising page.

I was lucky in that I only had mild preeclampsia. However I was in the hospital on bed rest for over 2 weeks. I was constantly being monitored from going to the restroom, to my blood pressure, and monitoring the babies heart beat (which was amazing getting to hear his little heart several times a day). There were a couple of scares where my doctor had to be called, but she reassured me that everything was going to be fine. I made it to 37 weeks and was then induced on January 17th around 9:00pm. On January 18, 2017 at 1:47 pm I got to see my beautiful 6lbs 3oz 19 inch long baby boy! Everything that I had endured to get to this point didn't matter anymore. God truly blessed our little family and kept his had on us through it all.

My goal is to help our community raise funds and awareness and save the lives of moms and babies! Please make a donation to support our efforts to fund education and research into this life-threatening disorder of pregnancy.
