Tonya Nkhata | Laughter and thankfulness

Thank you for visiting my 2016 Promise Walk for Preeclampsia fundraising page.

Our team name is the translation of the names of my two children.  Sekani means Laughter and Lumbani means Thankful.  Sekani was born at 30 weeks and came home after 6 weeks in the NICU.  Lumbani was born at 35 and was able to come home with us.  I had preeclampsia with both of them.

We would welcome as many walkers as are interested, so please consider a donation or coming out to spend the morning at Glenwood Gardens.

I am grateful for your donations and for your help in spreading the word about preeclampsia. My goal is to help our community raise funds and awareness and save the lives of moms and babies!

Please make a donation to support our efforts to fund education and research into this life-threatening disorder of pregnancy.
