Naomi LaRose | Eliza's Honor

My daughter, Eliza Grace, was born very prematurely due to preeclampsia. As a result, she only lived for 2 ½ months. Her death completely crushed me and my family.

Preeclampsia is a life-threatening hypertensive disorder of pregnancy that affects both the mother and the unborn child. It claims the lives of about 76,000 mothers and half a million babies each year. No one knows yet what causes preeclampsia. And there is no known cure.

That’s why we participate in the Capital District of New York Promise Walk for Preeclampsia. We hope you will, too. Please consider joining our team or making a donation. Every little bit helps.

We walk to find the cause and the cure to this devastating disorder of pregnancy. We walk for Eliza Grace.

Thank you.
