We spent months of our life praying and working through this disorder: 50+ days in the hospital, 13 weeks of bedrest, and hearing the words “NICU” and “stroke risk” more times than any family should. And even though my precious baby boy is miraculously healthy and happy, I don’t pretend that what we went through wasn’t a trauma. On my body, on my mind, on my spirit.
But now I think it is time to channel those emotions into helping other mamas out there going through their own pre-e battles by funding education and research into this disorder.
