Thank you for visiting my 2018 Promise Walk for Preeclampsia fundraising page.
My daughter, Vera Joy Chrismer, was born Sunday February 4 at 10:22am. She was 11.6 ounces and 10.25 inches.
I was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome at only 23 weeks. Vera had to be born, or we both wouldn’t make it. She was born alive and perfect, but too small for the NICU to take her. For the remainder of her life, my husband Dave and I held and kissed her and told her she was loved. We know we’re surrounded by friends and family who love us and we’re so thankful for your support.
I am grateful for your donations and for your help in spreading the word about preeclampsia. My goal is to help our community raise funds and awareness and save the lives of moms and babies!
Please make a donation to support our efforts to fund education and research into this life-threatening disorder of pregnancy.
